When The West Was Won is out now!
The second single off my upcoming album Magical, When The West Was Won is out now!
It's a fictional story about the life of a Cherokee child whose family is forced from their Georgia home in 1840 to relocate to Oklahoma on a march known as the Trail of Tears.
My writing process was similar to how I wrote The Opium Wars - I was reading about the history of the period and imagined a character living through it.
